Flagged by Tumblr..the horrors...

I got flagged by Tumblr this week. For a video (one of my favorites, honestly) of animated ancient goddess statues dancing to music. Apparently "female presenting nipples" are an issue even if they're a) stone and b) thousands of years old. What the F ever, Tumblr....

They reviewed it and unflagged the post. Eventually. Meanwhile, I'm accruing more porn bots since the Tumblrpocalypse than I did before December 17th. Stunning work there...

Same here. I had a reblog of some dude with no shirt on (definitely not porny by any stretch of the imagination) that got flagged. Oy. And the pornbots just keep rolling in....

It's so infuriating. Like, seriously?!?!?

Yep. There's a reason I deleted my account. Art blogs have been complaining about exactly that. Even if I agreed with their complete 180 change in the nsfw policy, the algorithm to label nsfw is messed up.

The only reason I haven't deleted mine is because I've got a bunch of mutuals who may not ever make the jump to DW or Twitter or what have you---and I've lost online communities before. So. I stay. But I have to wade through the porn blogs to do it, and that's infuriating.

But I don't blame the people who've left, at all. Especially the artists.
